"The Biggest Complaint"
The biggest complaint I have heard in my years on the road as a Maine DJ / MC, Maine Notary Public, and Officiant is from the guests! Usually it is "We can't hear (the Bride, Groom or Officiant). Trust-The-Entertainer has the solution! As Maine DJ /MC's we already have three public address systems to fit almost any venue or situation. We have just bought a bank of Sennheiser wireless microphones to be used at Wedding Ceremonies so all your guests can hear every word spoken! Please Note all Saturdays between April 15 and October 31st are reserved for clients purchasing a full DJ / MC Package. Our special Notary Public Officiant Package is available Sunday through Friday.
Our Notary & Officiant Package Includes:
- One personal planning meeting and / or unlimited telephone contact (this is great for our out of state clients, this year we served several out of state clients, with detailed planning of their personalized wedding ceremony), With your choice of Notary or Officiant Services.
- A contract to secure your special date.
- Help obtaining your marriage license, in Maine the Notary Public is required to return your Marriage License to the proper City Clerk who issued the license.
- If you do not have a Best Man or Maid / Matron of Honor we can provide the Two required witnesses. (Maine law requires witnesses to provide a current photo ID).
- All personalized planning, including vows selection, including name pronunciation, Traditional Introduction Music (Processional), Clear, Crisp, Sennheiser wireless microphones so everybody can hear every word spoken, Traditional Wedding March (Recessional) to exit the service, and filling out the required paperwork directly after the service.
- A non-official certificate of Marriage or Vow Renewal, Your official Marriage Certificate must be provided by the Town or City Clerk who issued your Marriage License.
- A JBL Pro sound system, customized for your venue or location. With three separate JBL systems, from large to small we have the correct sound system for your ceremony!
- Standard or customized wedding vows.

- Our Price for the above service is $350.00 inclusive of travel, {up to 40 Miles} for elopements call for market rate {Rate depends on details}.
- REHEARSAL ADD ON {HIGHLY RECOMMENDED} without Powered PA, $75.00 + mileage; with powered PA $150.00 + mileage. [some clients simply use our phone option to practice their vows].
RESTRICTIONS:
- As a mobile DJ /MC / Notary service we can do your service at any location you choose, however to use our powered systems and wireless microphones we are currently limited to be within 100' of an electrical power supply [a 20 amp, 110 circuit, we are currently working on a low powered system to accommodate wedding settings that do not have electrical power, until then our price is the same to Officiate with or without a powered Public Address system, but without power we can't provide music or wireless microphones].
- Outside Events: We do outside events with some obvious restrictions: Any outside event must have a plan "B" in case of bad weather, this can be a nearby hall or a tented event. Tented events must be large enough to hold your guests and our equipment, as most events are planned in advance and Maine weather changes very quickly, a backup plan is a must! We must reserve the right to protect our equipment from the elements, each of our microphones retail for over $800.00 each, so we always advise our clients in advance of these important detail(s).
- Currently Maine is the only New England State that does not allow same sex marriage. We are a LGBT friendly company. If you live in a state that allows same sex ceremonies we are able to officiate your ceremony.
